We are on the very edge of spring. It's been warm all week - the "great melt" has begun. As always, we've no promises as to when the snow will all go. But today's walk yielded a few hopeful signs of lush growth to come: a frog emerges from her winter nap; a monkey hugs himself in anticipation; a crow musters their sternest stare; a pig stands guard; the holy family gathers for a miracle; and a rowdy collection of characters bids me welcome.
